You Never Know What Treasures You Will Uncover When You Visit The King House Antiques Fair…

A quality Antiques Fair is to be held in the prestigious reception gallery in King House, Boyle, Co. Roscommon.  Magnificently restored by Roscommon County Council and now open to the public, the House was built and once owned by the King family, and subsequently housed the Connaught Rangers until 1922.

The grand scale of the reception gallery, its original stone floor, tripartite windows and high vaulted ceiling portray the impression that King House was built as a symbol of the status and power of the King family.

This is the second time a quality antiques fair has been held at this important venue with the intention to hold more in the future. Items available for purchase will include furniture, prints, vintage clothing, antique books, jewellery and decorative pieces.

The Antiques Fair will take place on Monday April 17th from 11.00am to 5.00pm and public admission to the Fair will be free.

Boyle is well situated and accessible for a day visit with Lough Key Forest Park only two miles distant.  The region also boasts many other fine visitor attractions with lots to see and do.  Boyle is a comfortable drive from the North, Sligo, Leitrim, Longford, Mayo, Athlone, Galway and approx. two and a half hours from Dublin on the N4.
