Boho community events - heritage, arts, music and dance
Boho Heritage Organisation invites you to:
The McArdle Brothers presenting
The Patrick Kavanagh Show
Venue: Boho Community Centre
Date: Friday 11 April 8 p.m. sharp
The Castleblayney twins John and Tommy Mc Ardle perform their critically acclaimed adaptation of the life and times of Patrick Kavanagh.
“Their comic characters are those of Kavanagh’s prose and they inhabit a world similar to that of “The Third Policeman”, a world of numbing stasis. Between the laughs the McArdle Brothers convey the pain and frustration of living in that world and the terrible loneliness of Kavanagh’s life. I urge you not to miss this gem of a production.” The Irish Times
