Fishing on the "Dollaghan"
Picked up at your accommodation and taken to the boat which is kept at Kinnego Marina. The Boat is a Pilot House Orkney called “Dollaghan”, fitted out with modern downriggers and electrical equipment. All equipment is supplied and explained how to use. Your skipper and guides are all trained in boat handling and fishing instruction to a high level. The target species are Dollaghan trout, Atlantic salmon and Pollan; methods are, trolling with lures, dry and wet fly fishing. Lough Neagh is a massive expanse of water and fishing trips are determined by the weather, the Lough can become extremely dangerous in a short space of time, that is why we offer a fully trained and insured service who have a good knowledge of the Lough. The association also offers fishing for Salmon, Trout and pike on exclusive beats on the Feeder Rivers of Lough Neagh. Methods from bait, spinning to fly-fishing.
Fishing from the Shore
Fishing with Brian on Lough Neagh and its river systems. Brian has many years of experience guiding and also does contract guiding for well known fishing companies such as Where Wise Men Fish and Angling Classics. Come the end of the season he can be found guiding on the Lough Neagh Tributaries’ for the famous Dollaghan as they run the rivers and streams prior to spawning. Along with guiding he also does work for Government bodies such as the Loughs Agency organising and running fishing festivals through out the year helping to promote angling to adults and children alike. Brian is currently chairman of the Professional Angling Guides and Instructors Network.
Evening Return to accommodation. Spend your evening in the Cross Inn in Toome, the oldest thatched pub in Northern Ireland - if not the whole of Ireland! This is one of Ireland's most famous Irish Traditional Music Pubs with a traditional Irish music session every Saturday. Musicians from all over Ireland have at one time or another played within (and outside) its walls. Taxi service to and from your accommodation available on request.
Sunday Depart Stable Court or Woodburn House by 10.00am.
10am-2pm Return to the water for a final morning’s fishing with Brian or it's back to the Lough or a feeder river on the "Dollaghan".

PAGIN are a group of like-minded anglers who have trained in various angling related disciplines and provide a one stop shop for advice to all angling related businesses. They are qualified to teach and offer coaching and guiding at the highest level on all aspects of fly fishing & casting to They hold full Public Liability Employers Liability and Professional Indemnity & Basic First Aid, as required by the Joint Angling Governing Bodies.
Dollaghan Guides
Boat crew are all trained to intermediate level (commercial) RYA. All Guides aremembers of the Association of Game Angling Instructors Ireland, Federation of Fly Fisher America and hold Level 2 coaches game and course and National angling guides certificate.
Stable Court Oldstone Hill, Co. Antrim
Stable Court is only a few minutes from the shores of Lough Neagh and the historic town of Antrim with all its heritage and cultural attractions.

Each apartment consists of: One bedroom with a choice of super-king size double or twin beds, fully fitted kitchen, living/dining area and bathroom. The Gable apartment has a second bathroom. There are two larger double-storey apartments suitable for families or for two couples, which have, on the ground floor, a living room with an archway to the kitchen/dining area.
Upstairs, in addition to the super king bedroom, they have a second bedroom with a standard double bed in it. These two apartments have en-suite bathrooms (shower, basin and toilet) for each super-king room, as well as another full bathroom: bath with shower enclosure, basin and toilet. These two larger apartments also have a guest cloakroom leading off the dining area.
Formerly stables and traditional farm buildings, Stable Court has resulted from a meticulous restoration programme which has successfully blended the original character of the buildings with modern day quality accommodation. A popular farm shop is located next door to Stable Court, providing a wide selection of quality meats and groceries, and a choice of supermarkets is within a five-minute drive.
About five minutes away is Antrim town with its leisure centre, cinema complex and the new Junction One International Retail Park, which boasts an impressive range of shops, boutiques and restaurants.
