Lough Allen in Co. Leitrim in an area of outstanding natural beauty so why not enjoy its lakes, rivers and hills by canoe, mountain bike, windsurf or hillwalking?Lough Allen Adventure Centre is nestled between Sliabh Anierin and the eastern shore of Lough Allen, great for hillwalking or as a venue for kayaking, open boating or windsurfing. Have a water session under instruction or use our open boat hire service to explore the lake and adjoining waterways.
For those who want some narlier paddling, the Centre is located in easy reach of several white water rivers and the Centre also runs kayak surfing trips to the sea. If you want to windsurf, equipment and instruction or coaching is provided for both beginners and for the more experienced.
Hillwalking, mountain and survival skills, archery, swimming, white water kayaking (both sea and white water) are on offer with fully qualified, experienced and friendly instructors. Choose from windsurfing or canoe taster sesions, full six hour certified courses in any combination of activities, one or half day mutli-activity sessions or summer camps. Round off the day with a hot shower, sauna and - for the brave - a plunge in a natural spring water pool.

A week filled with fun and exciting activities for adventurers between the ages of 8 and 16.
Enjoy a whole five days packed with loads of fun and action. Make new friends and discover new skills. Learn how to paddle open boats and Kayaks. Go Board Sailing. See if your team can build a really great raft. Try to discover where Captain Koala has Hidden his secret Treasure. Can you light a fire without matches? We’ll show you how!! You can explore the wilds of the Stony River on Gorge Walk Day. On the very last day you can go on an expedition and put all your newfound skills to use and enjoy a Barbeque, Lough Allen Style. All in all a busy, busy fun week.
