Welcome to Inish Rath Island where Lake Isle Retreats offer short breaks in a variety of spiritual and holistic pursuits. Inish Rath is the ideal place to relax, meet warm friendly people and to refresh the inner-self. This lake isle is situated on Upper Lough Erne in County Fermanagh, less than two hours drive from both Belfast and Dublin in Ireland.
Inish Rath island is also home to the principal Hare Krishna temple in Ireland. A golden temple shrine has been introduced to the building from India. Robed monks practise meditation from the early hours. And there is a family-orientated community living on the adjacent mainland who maintain the property and enjoy the frequent festivities!
Peacock stroll through the grounds and heron, swan, hare, deer and other wildlife wander freely in the peaceful Lakeland atmosphere. Encircling the island’s perimeter are dense indigenous woodlands and to the interior stands an elegant Victorian stately house, which is now subdivided with facilities for yoga, conference, a newly refurbished guest-wing, and more.
There are a range of retreats to suit many tastes and interests, in particular, meditation, yoga, vegetarian cookery, music and chanting. Retreats are open to all and are not denominational. You are also welcome anytime on a personal retreat, with or without workshops. Prices include comfortable and pleasant accommodation (rooms are ensuite or with private facilities), return ferry crossing and delicious vegetarian cuisine during your stay.
Generous discounts are available for groups of more than two people - contact us for details.
