Restored, traditional, the 4 star Creevy Cottages were recently awarded the EU Flower for eco-friendly accommodation. Set in their own private locations on half acre walled sites, all have dedicated washing/drying facilities, private car parking, full oil-fired central heating, open fires with en suite bathrooms, fully fitted kitchens and all modern conveniences.
Unique features include flag stone floors, traditional fireplaces, half-doors and sash windows. With the comfort and convenience of guests in mind, they have been finished to a high standard and have bait and tackle rooms as well as freezing and drying facilities. So whether you are an angler, a deep-sea diver, snorkeller, surfer, golfer, cyclist, nature lover, walker or simply wish to relax by the sea, your needs are well catered for.
The Creevy cottages can be rented as self-catering units with an optional house keeping service. Each cottage sleeps six in three double or twin rooms. Guests can choose between cottages nestled by the shore or nestling deep in quiet countryside, each with spectacular views of mountains and sea. Kitty's Cottage is located just a few hundred yards from Creevy Pier and the Atlantic Ocean. Mary Kate's Cottage is located slightly inland and enjoys panaromic views across the surrounding countryside and out over Donegal Bay. Big Jimmy's Cottage is two fields from the sea down a narrow private lane and has recently been awarded VAS Grade 4 classification for its full disabled access.
