We are situated in North Leitrim - a beautiful unspoiled area of North West Ireland - otherwise known as “Ireland’s best kept secret”. We offer first class accommodation, a restaurant, supermarket & post office facilities all under one roof. Amenities in the Area include fishing, hill walking, golfing, cycling & potholing otherwise known as caving. We are 25 miles from Sligo, 15 miles from Enniskillen. We specialize in accommodating the energetic outdoor type, with our proximity to amenities such as: fishing, hill walking, golfing, cycling and “potholing” – otherwise known as caving. Our Bed & Breakfast accommodation consists of tastefully decorated ensuite bedrooms, all with television. A two bedroomed apartment is also available and this is designed to facilitate disabled customers. We provide an ideal base for exploring this undiscovered part of the country and special discounts are available for groups.

Our restaurant has established an excellent reputation for serving good home cooked food at very affordable prices. Our menu is varied to suit all tastes and we serve an “all day breakfast”. Sunday Lunch has become a special treat for families and we have a separate suite for private functions e.g. birthdays, christenings etc. This room is also available for conferences / meetings. We subscribe to “Bord Bia” (The Irish Food Board) which ensures that all our food products are sourced locally and are traceable. Packed lunches are also available on request.
Some Local Attractions include: Hill Walking, Fishing in the renowned Lough Melvin, Kingfisher Cycling Trail, Organic Centre, Marble Arch Caves, Ard Nahoo Health Farm and a choice of ten Golf Courses within a thirty mile radius.
For golfers there are ten championship courses within a thirty mile radius, e.g. Rosses Point, Bundoran, Murvagh, Slieve Russell, Castle Hume, Enniskillen, to name but a few. There is also a beautiful homely 9 hole lakeside course in Blacklion – 4 miles away.
Walkers are attracted to Glenfarne by the numerous mapped walks in the vicinity. These vary from short walks in the local forest, to the more daunting walks in the mountains. Hill walking festivals are held regularly and are organised by the Glens Centre in Manorhamilton. Fishing enthusiasts will find plenty of pleasure in the numerous lakes in the area, namely Lough Erne, Lough Macnean and the renowned Lough Melvin, and boats are available for hire.
